The Black Moods: The BLACKMOODS. A power trio born out of Tempe Arizona that has the intensity of an Atom bomb in the middle of the Arizona desert. Hailing from Wheaton Missouri, population 621, Joshua Kennedy and Ryan Prier grew up playing music together. Kennedy moved to Tempe AZ in February of 2001. In March, Ryan followed suit. They continued playing here and there and managed to hook up with the Gin Blossoms and began using their studio to work out Demos. Soon after, they were introduced to Chico Diaz and quickly became one of the best bands in Arizona. Currently they are wrapping up work on their new record.
Located in the heart of the prestigious old town Scottsdale, Arizona, Martini Ranch has been a premier live music destination and a mainstay in evening entertainment for almost 2 decades..
