Biography
A few years ago, someone heard Kirsten Plambeck singing. It was a jaw dropping experience and it was obvious that something bigger and better was to become of her. With her voice and talent, the idea of a Janis Joplin/Melissa Etheridge tribute band started to take form. Within a few weeks, we had the band! RJ Rizzo, Ora Zutler, Greg White and Kriss Heintz jumped on board. It was a great opportunity too good to pass up! PEARL RIDGE was born!

 
The power and passion of Janis and Melissa are celebrated along with other female artists who Janis has paved the way for! So many of our favorite female singers would not have had a chance in the music business had Janis Joplin not taken the mic by the horns!
